A Sad Goodbye…….

When my Husband, Steve, and I bought Sarah’s House in 2005, it was a first for us.  A first in running a business together, a first for either of us being innkeepers and a first in finding something that we both loved doing together.  We had only been married a little over a year and owning and operating a Bed & Breakfast gave us extra, appreciated, time together.

When I lost Steve to a heart attack in June of 2017 it was devastating.  He was my soul mate, my best friend and the love of my life.  But, I was determined to carry on his legacy of good care and good food to the wonderful guests who have graced the rooms at Sarah’s House and brought wonderful memories and laughter.  But, times change and with that change has come a downturn in business, to the point where I am having to find work elsewhere, so   Sarah’s House will no longer be accepting reservations, but I do still have Miller’s Emporium Gift Shop located inside Sarah’s House, I hope you will continue to come to Dresden and support the lovely shop’s and restaurants in our quaint village.

I would love to hear from you, so please stay in touch!  The Sarah’s House email address is still in use, sarahshousebnb@yahoo.com, and we are still on Facebook under Sarah's House Victorian Bed & Breakfast, where I am listing items for sale as I begin to liquidate the furnishings.  If there is anything in particular you would be interested in, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

                                                                      Be blessed!
